Spotted in photostream and simply noted as: “White House, Carlito Brigante visits Washington DC”. What a great mix of location, stencil and media. However, the placement of the whole does remind me of this strange comic.
I have no context to give you. I just really wanted to post this image from the “Something is going to happen” tumblelog… An alternative title would have been: “Run away, your firearms are useless against them!”
Here is some graffiti that reminded us of this blogs humble beginnings when we primarily featured street art. I wonder if this was painted on a one-way street? This was spotted in photostream.
Juergen Christ is a photographer and woodcut print maker from Germany. His latest work is a detailed reproduction of a photo taken during Obama’s visit to Berlin: “The Obama woodcut is sized 1,00 x 1,50 Meter, time for working ist more than 5 months. First print – proof print – will be made in few weeks by the professional artist printer Martin Kaetelhoen.”
Tina Skewed grabbed a photo of this sign from a money exchange in Malaysia: “This photo was taken in the Little India section of Kuala Lumpur. Obama had only been in office for about 3 weeks when I spotted this image outside of a currency exchange window” Full image inside.
