Reader Jennifer quickly sent in a rebuttal to that last piece of coffee art: “That’s nothing! check out this coffee that my friend sent me!” Very nice indeed. What was your friend’s name? All these images are making me want coffee!
We have been getting spamed for the past week from coffee/design company DeLonghi:”Judging by your site, you know that coffee is an integral part of life and culture”. Usually, I ignore these kinds of messages, but then I noticed that they did feature a bit of Obama art in this short video. Still, I like this coffee art better.
Reader Jean7 pointed to this yummy sculpture listed in a Fox News image gallery: “Norma Lyon touches up her butter sculpture of Democratic Presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama following a town hall style meeting by the candidate at South Tama Middle School in Toledo, Iowa. The bust was made from 23 pounds of butter. The stop was part of today’s scheduled five-city campaign swing in the central part of the state in an attempt to gather last-minute support before the January 3 caucus.”

Reader Joe11 spotted this yummy treat in photostream: “From New York City’s Port Authority to the Film Center Building requires a short walk down 9th Avenue in the Hell’s Kitchen area. I frequently notice lines out the door at Amy’s Bread at 672 9th Ave. Today it was later in the day and it wasn’t the lines that caught my attention. Today Amy’s bread had Obama bread on display in their window! How awesome. I was thrilled that I had my Canon FT camera with me and snapped away.”
